New England's Premiere Simulated Congress for more than 80 Years

AIC will take a brief pause on the program for the 2023-2024 academic year. This decision is not a cancellation but rather a strategic step to re-evaluate the program, determine how it relates to our institutional priorities, and to ensure it aligns effectively with AIC’s mission and vision.

Over the course of its eighty-three-year history, Model Congress has played a significant role in our outreach efforts and in providing valuable opportunities for high school students to engage in political discourse. However, like any longstanding initiative, it is essential for us to periodically reassess its impact and alignment with our current goals.

The pause on the program will allow us to thoroughly evaluate its structure, objectives, and overall impact. We understand the vital role it has played in fostering the development of future leaders and engaged citizens, and we deeply value the partnership we have with you and your students.
